FUTURE EVENTS

Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority has canceled its officers and board meetings scheduled for Friday. The next regular meeting will be held March 30. For information, call Tammy Hatton at 304-345-2312, Ext. 130.

Tea Party Groups will host an Open House/Candidate Meet and Greet from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Civic Center Lounge. All candidates running for office in the state have been invited and the public is encouraged to attend.

Putnam County Parks and Recreation Commission will host a photography class instructed by Laura Moul starting Tuesday. Classes will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Commons of Putnam County by the Wave Pool. For information or to register, contact Laura at 304-743-8281 or www.moulphotography.com, or call the park office at 304-562-0518, ext. 10.

Kanawha County Schools-YMCA will have its Pre-Kindergarten Roundup from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 6 at the YMCA. Tuition is free. There is also a fee-based aftercare available. For information, call Michelle Lewis at 304-340-3527 or visit youthandfam...@ymcawv.org.

Kanawha Valley Jamboree will have a benefit sing to help with medical expenses for Rick McKean from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at 8902 MacCorkle Ave., Marmet. Admission is free, however, donations will be accepted. For information, call Arnie Jefferson at 304-675-2073.
