Send-A-Child-To-Camp Fund

Last year, more than 750 West Virginia children had the opportunity to attend summer camp because of donations to the Gazette Charities Send-A-Child-To-Camp Fund. If not for your donations to the fund, many of these children would have spent more of their summer indoors. Instead, they had a chance to toast marshmallows, learn silly camp songs, spend time outside and make memories that will last them a lifetime.

Every penny donated to the camp fund goes toward funding camp scholarships. The Gazette covers all costs associated with operating the fund.

The average cost to send a child to camp is $80, although some of the specialized camps in our program are considerably higher. No donation is too small. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
